Leidens Ontzet Card

The  3 October Festival card, a cityscape illustration created through the combination of analog and digital techniques. This unique artwork captures the iconic festival in Leiden. It is held annually during the days leading up to the 3rd and often concludes that evening or the following day. Observed since the 1500s, its modern public celebration has been a locally declared holiday since 1886. This year it was a special edition, because we celebrated it for 450 years.
